Masterclass: Beyond VC, the Public Funding Playbook
16:00 - 17:00
Looking beyond early-stage startup funding? Public funding is one of the most valuable and most overlooked resources available to founders, but knowing which programs fit your stage is often the hardest part. In this Masterclass, Anne Le Rolland and Philipp Scherer from Berlin Partner für Wirtschaft und Technologie give you a practical map of the funding landscape across Berlin, Germany, and the EU, from IBB, EXIST, and KfW to Horizon Europe and the EIC Accelerator. Leave with a shortlist of programs that match your stage and clear next steps, and learn how public funding can extend your runway without costing you more equity.
How to stay sane as a Founder’s Associate - The Delta x Deep Work
19:00 - 21:00
The Founder's Associate role is one of the most intense seats in a startup, and one of the loneliest. Join Deep Work and The Delta Campus on Wednesday, 28 October, 7 to 9 PM, for an evening just for FAs. Hosted by Lea Mersch, former Bundesliga athlete, strategy consultant, and trained psychotherapist, you'll get an honest look at what the role costs you, practical tools to handle pressure without burning out, and open conversation with peers who know exactly what you're dealing with.
The Fintech Growth Pain Event
9:30 - 15:30
Feeling the pain of fast growth in fintech? Join Ockto, Motive Partners, and The Delta for a Berlin Fintech Europe learning day built for engineers, product owners, business developers, founders, and investors. Pick one of three breakout tracks: taking your product from local to EU player, AI in regulated fintech, or growth strategies for fintech platforms. Then pitch your findings and get feedback. Bring a one-minute intro pitch on who you are, what you're building, and the growth pain you're bringing to the table.
